Die Idee entstand durch einen Fetzen, der die ungefähre Form des südamerikanischen Kontinents
besaß und aus einem Känguru Fell herausriss. Um dieses nicht wegwerfen zu müssen, hab ich mir
gedacht ‚mach ne Weltkarte daraus‘. Besagtes Fell auf eine Depafit Platte montiert und mit Abstand-
haltern an der Wand angebracht. Im zweiten Schritt eine alte Lichterkette hinter der Känguru Weltkarte justiert und fertig war der
Prototyp. Danach dacht ich mir, ich sollte das mal mit LEDs und Holz versuchen und habe somit
drei weitere Weltkarten zur Welt (…höhöhö) gebracht. Mit Fernbedienung, Farbwechsel und
spielfertiger Montage an der Wand.

I got the Idea from a kangaroo fur that I once owned. It was quite old but I didn’t want to throw it away.
One day a piece ripped out which was shaped like South America and so I decided to upcycle it and
bring it back on the wall as a world map. I cut out the shape of the map and glued it on some kind of
strong cardboard and nailed it on the wall with a distance to it. After this I just putted an old light chain behind this kangaroo fur world map and so the prototype
was born. After a while i decided to redesign it an make it a bit more professional by using wood,
LED’s and the possibility to paint on the continents .
